AL-INVEST Verde is an EU-funded programme to promote sustainable growth and job creation in Latin America. Its objective is to support the transition to a low-carbon, resource-efficient and more circular economy, in order to facilitate the implementation of sustainable production models.

AGEXPORT developed the event "Green Ideas" in Guatemala, within the framework of the AL-INVEST Verde Programme and as part of the actions of Component 1, an initiative that brought together various institutions that seek to generate environmental solutions for the exchange of good practices and the implementation of actions that promote sustainability.

This was the 3rd round table organised by AL-INVEST Verde Component 2 within the cycle "Dialogue and exchange of experiences on sustainability in the coffee value chain".

The implementing institutions of the projects developed as part of Component 1 publicise the scope of their initiatives. 

Component 2 organised this online roundtable, with representatives from the European Union, Brazil, Ecuador and Peru, along with other Latin American coffee producing countries.
