Soy Dialogue
In collaboration with the Sustainable Agriculture for Forest Ecosystems (SAFE) programme, implemented by the German-GIZ Cooperation, the Zero Deforestation project and the Argentine-German Dialogue on Sustainable Agricultural Innovations, the "MERCOSUR-EU Soy Dialogue: Strengthening a Strategic Value Chain" is organised from 20 to 21 May. The event takes place on 20 May in Buenos Aires, with an institutional event, and on 21 May in Rosario, with field visits and workshops.
Implementation period: May 2025.

MERCOSUR and European actors met in Argentina to strengthen a deforestation-free soybean chain
26 May 2025. Representatives of governments, the private sector, international organisations, producers and civil society organisations from MERCOSUR and the European Union participated in the meeting "MERCOSUR-EU soybean dialogue: strengthening a strategic value chain", which took place on 20 and 21 May in the cities of Buenos Aires and Rosario.
