Component 1 of the AL-INVEST Verde programme was present at the LAC-EU Business Forum, which took place within the framework of the EU-CELAC Summit 2025, through the participation of its beneficiary SMEs. These SMEs from the food and industry sectors were selected to attend this high-level event due to their commitment to the programme and the results achieved.
During the session, SME representatives had the opportunity to participate in thematic sessions on strengthening multilateral cooperation, digital and environmental energy transition, cooperation in educational infrastructure, climate change, and food security. The event also served as a networking platform to strengthen ties with Latin American, Caribbean, and European organisations.

The event took place in Santa Marta, Colombia, on 9 and 10 November and brought together delegations from countries in Latin America and the Caribbean and from European Union Member States.
Among the representatives of SMEs were Luis Sánchez, from OVOMÁS (Ecuador); Osvaldo Navia, from SICIREC (Bolivia); Elsa Sosa from Lácteos SOAVI (El Salvador); Leidy Simón from the Agroecological Tourism Association of Peru; Wagner Dantas Roberto da Silva from Zucco Moda (Brazil); and Maria Aparecida Viturino Moraes from Chinispa (Brazil).
