Ecuador hosts the closing of the "Dialogues on sustainable cocoa" cycle
Ecuador hosted the closing event of the cycle "Dialogues on sustainable cocoa", organised by AL-INVEST Verde, in collaboration with the German Cooperation-GIZ Ecuador and the Delegation of the European Union in Ecuador. The event "Integrated solutions for sustainable cocoa" was held in Quito on 1 October.
4.4 million euros will be used to promote green economy projects in Colombia.
The AL-INVEST Verde programme, through its Component 1, is implementing twelve innovative projects in Colombia with a view to promoting employment and competitiveness of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the country, which will contribute to economic growth. The following have been earmarked for the development of these initiatives

AL-INVEST verde TV
The AL-INVEST Verde programme, through its Component 1, has been promoting the implementation of nine projects in Brazil that seek to benefit small and medium-sized enterprises. These initiatives were presented in Sao Paulo at a Technical Meeting with the participation of local experts in panel discussions dedicated to the circular economy and the progress in the green transition of Brazilian SMEs.
Together with the Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries (MGAP) of Uruguay and the Uruguayan Agency for International Cooperation (AUCI), AL-INVEST Verde organised the workshop "Environmental Traceability Systems" to promote technical exchange on the implementation of the European Union Deforestation Free Regulation (EUDR) in Mercosur countries.
