Technical dialogues on sustainability and traceability in meat and leather value chains

Organisation of dialogues in collaboration with the Amazon Environmental Research Institute (IPAM). Different aspects of the meat and leather value chains in Brazil were analysed to identify good practices and promote environmental policies to help combat deforestation.

Development of a unified management system for the Legal Meat Programme and strengthening of procedures. 

Action in partnership with the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office (MPF) of Brazil in the states of Acre, Amazonas, Mato Grosso, Pará, Rondônia and Tocantins. Its objective is to support the development of the unified management system of the Legal Meat Programme and to strengthen the monitoring, reporting and verification procedures in the aforementioned states.

Implementation of the SeloVerde traceability platform in the state of Minas Gerais.

In partnership with the State Forestry Institute of Minas Gerais (Brazil), support is provided for the development and implementation of the SeloVerde MG platform in this state to promote socio-environmental sustainability in the coffee, livestock and soy value chains.
