The AL-INVEST Verde programme, through its Component 1, is implementing twelve innovative projects in Colombia with a view to promoting employment and competitiveness of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the country, which will contribute to economic growth. 4.4 million have been earmarked for the development of these initiatives. Ecuador hosts the closing session of the "Dialogues on sustainable cocoa" series
The closing conference of the "Dialogues on sustainable cocoa" cycle, organised throughout the year to analyse the requirements of the European Union Regulation on Deforestation Free Products (EUDR) and its implementation in the cocoa value chain, will be held in Quito (Ecuador) on 1 October. Producers of: açaí from Codajás in Amazonas; cocoa beans and derivatives in Rondônia; and coffees from the volcanic region of Poços de Caldas in Minas Gerais. Read more.

International Coffee Day
