This study presents an overview of traceability mechanisms for cattle in Brazil throughout the production process. It is part of<\/span> the<\/span> \"Dialogues <\/span>on sustainability and traceability in food value chains.<\/span>rne and leather\".<\/span><\/a>which<\/span> were organised from December 2021 to September 2022, when the closing event<\/a>.<\/p>

The dialogues allowed <\/span>reflection<\/span>ar<\/span> on sustainability<\/span>,<\/span> good<\/span>
practices and<\/span> posib<\/span>ilities of<\/span> cooperation<\/span>\u00f3<\/span>n<\/span> for<\/span> contribute to the improvement of<\/span> l<\/span>The chains of<\/span> production. They brought together the import, export, retail and livestock sectors, as well as representatives of slaughterhouses, tanneries, associations and civil society organisations, together with research officers. <\/span><\/p>

Estat the initiative of<\/span> was promoted by the European Union through the<\/span> p<\/span>rogramme AL<\/span>\u2013<\/span>INVEST<\/span> Verde, in collaboration with the<\/span> Instituto de Pesquisa Ambiental da Amaz\u00f4nia (Amazon Environmental Research Institute)<\/span> (IPAM).<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
