The Action aims to support transparent supply chains and FCDs that meet the regulatory requirements of markets and contribute to national plans to end deforestation. The objectives are to support the implementation of a National Traceability and Transparency System for livestock and soy production in Brazil; to test a protocol for transparent and verified supply chains for livestock products in the Cerrado biome; to support the implementation of transparent and responsible beef supply chains by meat SMEs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The beneficiary groups are ABIEC, its members and the small and medium-sized slaughterhouses in the Amazon and Cerrado biomes. The buyers (demand-side companies - such as CGF members) and their customers and consumers of the products are beneficiaries of this project. All livestock and soy sectors are targeted by this project, as beneficiaries of the updated beef and soy toolkits, the Coalition's traceability and transparency hub and the advocacy strategy for the implementation of the National Traceability and Transparency System.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
