The private sector support component, Component 1, has been working on the implementation of sustainable practices through the execution of 66 projects in Latin America, achieving a tangible transformation in the agricultural and industrial sectors. Through these initiatives, gender equity is also being promoted, with the active participation of women and youth being a particularly relevant aspect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sustainability is not only an environmental commitment, but also a social and economic one. Thus, the inclusion of women not only brings talent and creativity, but also promotes new ways of doing business, innovating in production processes and generating impact networks in their communities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to women's efforts and leadership, MSMEs have proven to be key players in the transition to a greener and more digital future. The AL-INVEST Verde programme has been instrumental in promoting sustainable practices and the economic empowerment of women through their projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the Programme, more than 25,000 women have been trained, improving their skills and competencies to lead the shift towards a greener and more digital economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To date, more than 1,700 women-led MSMEs have adopted sustainable agricultural practices that not only favour the environment, but also improve the efficiency of their production processes. These practices reflect the commitment of women entrepreneurs to the transition towards a more responsible and resource-friendly agriculture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Increasing the volume of business is one of the objectives of the Programme. A total of 3,903 women have participated in business meetings, resulting in a significant impact for 837 MSMEs. These meetings have enabled women entrepreneurs to expand their outreach and access new opportunities, thus strengthening their business capacities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These results not only mean higher incomes and more green and digital jobs, but also demonstrate a strong commitment to sustainability and the elimination of deforestation, contributing to a greener and more sustainable future for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
