{"id":7996,"date":"2023-07-13T17:09:18","date_gmt":"2023-07-13T15:09:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/alinvest-verde.eu\/?p=7996"},"modified":"2024-07-05T17:43:23","modified_gmt":"2024-07-05T15:43:23","slug":"inpi-brasil-y-euipo-se-unen-para-modernizar-los-procesos-de-propiedad-intelectual","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alinvest-verde.eu\/en_gb\/inpi-brasil-y-euipo-se-unen-para-modernizar-los-procesos-de-propiedad-intelectual\/","title":{"rendered":"INPI Brazil visits EUIPO to modernise and strengthen its intellectual property system"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Spain, 13 July 2023.<\/strong>- Brazil's National Institute of Intellectual Property (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.br\/inpi\/es\">INPI<\/a>) and the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.euipo.europa.eu\/es\">EUIPO<\/a>&nbsp;are implementing a strategic activity of&nbsp;<strong>strengthening the intellectual property system<\/strong>&nbsp;through the&nbsp;<strong>modernisation of quality systems&nbsp;<\/strong>and<strong>&nbsp;process improvements<\/strong>&nbsp;linked to the registration of industrial property titles, particularly trademarks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The action is part of the AL-INVEST Verde IPR programme of activities (Component 3), funded by the European Union and implemented by EUIPO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through a<strong>&nbsp;study visit<\/strong>The meeting, held from 11 to 13 July, was attended by a delegation from&nbsp;<strong>experts&nbsp;<\/strong>in the quality management and trademark examination processes of the&nbsp;<strong>INPI&nbsp;<\/strong>has been able to&nbsp;<strong>examine&nbsp;<\/strong>in detail the&nbsp;<strong>management systems<\/strong>&nbsp;implemented by EUIPO in order to identify successful practices that can be used to improve efficiency, simplify procedures and optimise the cost-benefit ratio in the Brazilian IP system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In parallel to the study visit, a hybrid interactive session was held in connection with Brazil focusing on the handling and management of the office's relationship with users and rights holders.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The study visit represented a significant step forward for INPI Brazil in its quest to continue improving an enabling environment for innovation and intellectual property protection in the country, in line with international best practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>About AL-INVEST Verde<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AL-INVEST Verde is a European Union (EU) programme whose main objective is to promote sustainable growth and job creation in Latin America by supporting the transition towards a low-carbon, resource-efficient and more circular economy.
