La Oficina de Estudios y Pol\u00edticas Agrarias (Odepa), con el apoyo del programa AL-INVEST Verde de la Uni\u00f3n Europea y la Delegaci\u00f3n de la Uni\u00f3n Europea en Chile, junto con Eurochile, dio inicio a la Fase II del proyecto para adaptar las cadenas bovina y forestal al Reglamento europeo de productos libres de deforestaci\u00f3n (EUDR)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Este hito marca el comienzo de una nueva etapa de trabajo orientada a fortalecer las capacidades institucionales y sectoriales para el cumplimiento de esta normativa europea<\/strong>, cuya fecha de aplicaci\u00f3n a grandes y medianos operadores, as\u00ed como a micro y peque\u00f1as empresas, est\u00e1 pendiente de revisi\u00f3n por el Parlamento Europeo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante la apertura, la directora nacional de Odepa, Andrea Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, destac\u00f3 que \u201cesta segunda fase representa un paso concreto hacia la implementaci\u00f3n de soluciones pr\u00e1cticas que permitan a Chile prepararse adecuadamente frente al EUDR\u201d. Agreg\u00f3 que \u201cel trabajo conjunto con la Uni\u00f3n Europea, AL-INVEST Verde y Eurochile refleja un compromiso compartido por avanzar en una producci\u00f3n m\u00e1s sostenible y libre de deforestaci\u00f3n, fortaleciendo la competitividad del sector agroforestal chileno\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por su parte, Francisco Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, jefe de la secci\u00f3n de Cooperaci\u00f3n Internacional de la Delegaci\u00f3n de la Uni\u00f3n Europea en Chile, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que \u201cesta nueva etapa consolida una cooperaci\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica de largo plazo con el Ministerio de Agricultura de Chile, en el marco de la transici\u00f3n verde que impulsa la Uni\u00f3n Europea. El EUDR busca promover cadenas de suministro m\u00e1s sostenibles y transparentes, y Chile es un socio clave en ese objetivo\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Desde el programa AL-INVEST Verde, Emilio Calvo<\/strong>, director del Componente 2 -implementado por la Fundaci\u00f3n para la Internacionalizaci\u00f3n de las Administraciones P\u00fablicas (FIAP) y la Organizaci\u00f3n Internacional \u00cdtalo-latinoamericana (IILA)-, destac\u00f3 que \u201ctras el diagn\u00f3stico presentado en la primera fase, este proyecto avanza ahora hacia la acci\u00f3n, enfoc\u00e1ndose en generar capacidades concretas, herramientas de trazabilidad y espacios de di\u00e1logo interinstitucional\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cuatro componentes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

En esta Fase II, se trabajar\u00e1 en cuatro componentes principales:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. La instalaci\u00f3n del Comit\u00e9 T\u00e9cnico Interinstitucional sobre EUDR, liderado por Odepa, para coordinar esfuerzos entre instituciones p\u00fablicas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. La elaboraci\u00f3n de materiales t\u00e9cnicos y de capacitaci\u00f3n, adaptados a las realidades del sector bovino y forestal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. La ejecuci\u00f3n de talleres y jornadas formativas en regiones clave del pa\u00eds.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. La creaci\u00f3n de una secci\u00f3n web EUDR en Odepa, que centralizar\u00e1 informaci\u00f3n, gu\u00edas y actualizaciones sobre la implementaci\u00f3n de la norma.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Esta etapa, que se desarrollar\u00e1 entre noviembre de 2025 y mayo de 2026, con el apoyo de Eurochile, busca consolidar a Chile como pa\u00eds de bajo riesgo y socio confiable para los mercados internacionales, contribuyendo a la sostenibilidad y trazabilidad de sus cadenas agroforestales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Acerca de AL-INVEST Verde<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    AL-INVEST Verde es un programa de la Uni\u00f3n Europea (UE) cuyo principal objetivo es promover el crecimiento sostenible y la creaci\u00f3n de empleo en Am\u00e9rica Latina, apoyando la transici\u00f3n hacia una econom\u00eda baja en carbono, eficiente en recursos y m\u00e1s circular. A trav\u00e9s del Componente 2, liderado por FIIAPP en consorcio con IILA, el programa proporciona asistencia para el fortalecimiento de las pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas y los di\u00e1logos entre m\u00faltiples partes interesadas sobre las cadenas agr\u00edcolas y de valor sostenibles, las normas ambientales y laborales, as\u00ed como la pol\u00edtica comercial y econ\u00f3mica sostenible y los marcos regulatorios.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
