Bruxelas, 22 de maio de 2023 - Em 6 de dezembro, o Conselho e o Parlamento Europeu chegaram a acordo sobre o regulamento relativo \u00e0s cadeias de abastecimento n\u00e3o associadas \u00e0 desfloresta\u00e7\u00e3o e \u00e0 degrada\u00e7\u00e3o florestal. Este regulamento estabelece normas obrigat\u00f3rias de dilig\u00eancia devida<\/strong> para todos os operadores que comercializem ou exportem da Uni\u00e3o Europeia (UE) as seguintes mat\u00e9rias-primas: \u00f3leo de palma, carne de bovino, <\/strong>madeira, caf\u00e9, cacau, borracha e soja<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Prev\u00ea-se que este regulamento entre em vigor em Maio ou Junho e que a lista de canais seja regularmente alargada a fim de garantir que, ao longo da cadeia de produ\u00e7\u00e3o, n\u00e3o contribu\u00edram para a desfloresta\u00e7\u00e3o ou a degrada\u00e7\u00e3o florestal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A Uni\u00e3o Europeia est\u00e1 disposta a trabalhar em estreita colabora\u00e7\u00e3o com os pa\u00edses que considera parceiros para promover a transi\u00e7\u00e3o para a produ\u00e7\u00e3o sustent\u00e1vel<\/strong>A UE est\u00e1 empenhada na gest\u00e3o respons\u00e1vel das florestas e no desenvolvimento de cadeias de abastecimento transparentes.<\/p>\n\n
