In the International Women's Daywe reaffirm our commitment to their rights. At AL-INVEST Verde, we promote the empowerment of women, their participation in small and medium-sized enterprises, the development of women entrepreneurs in rural areas, support for women producers and exporters and recognition of the talent and creativity of women inventors. We believe in the valuable contribution of all of them and in their transformative potential.
AL-INVEST Verde supports leaders of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. The programme expects 3500 green and digital jobs for women to be generated and more than 26,000 women to participate in activities promoted in support of the private sector.
Gender perspective in the agro-export sector
In collaboration with the Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries of Uruguay, we support activities that contribute to the objectives of the National Plan for Gender in Agricultural Policy (PNG Agro). To this end, opportunities for improving employment conditions and exporting products to the European Union with a gender perspective are analysed. Read more
