CAN countries meet to analyse results of AL-INVEST Verde-supported action
From 24 to 26 July, representatives of Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru met at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Andean Community (SGCAN) in Lima (Peru) to learn about and analyse the first results of the action supported by Component 2 of AL-INVEST Verde for the export of agricultural products to the European Union, implemented by IICA (Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture). AL-INVmentor: producers selected to receive mentoring on geographical indications
AL-INVEST Verde Component 3 for intellectual property rights announced the producer groups in Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay selected to receive specialist geographical indications mentoring with AL-INVmentor. In Argentina, producers of tea, flower honey from Atamisqui and paprika from the Calchaquíes Valleys were selected. In Brazil, producers of açaí from Codajás, cocoa and its derivatives from Rondônia and coffee from the Planalto de Poços de Caldas. In Paraguay, honey producers from the Ñeembucú wetlands. Read more.
