About the programme
AL INVEST has a history of 28 years and is the 6th programme of its kind, now with a stronger focus on actors from Europe. The programme is mainly built around 3 components: Component 1 is designed to mobilise EU know-how and investment in support of building alliances with the private sector in Latin America. This component is being implemented by a consortium of seven institutions led by sequa. Component 2 is dealing with policy advocacy to effectively implement the core environmental and labour standards and will be implemented by a consortium composed of FIIAPP and IILA. Component 3 on intellectual property rights is managed by the corresponding EU office EUIPO.
Component 1 is led by sequa with its partners with a focus on managing sub-grants which are innovative partnership projects of Latin American and EU organisations. More information here...
