ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
The programme has a budget of 33 million euros, granted by the European Commission to facilitate the implementation of sustainable production models. The duration of this initiative will be 48 months: it began in December 2021 and will end in November 2025.
The programme is implemented through three components:
Component 1 is led by drought together with a consortium of institutions from the region and has as its main objective the management of funds for the implementation of innovative partnership projects between organisations from Latin America and the European Union.

Component 2 is led by FIIAPP in consortium with IILA.
Its main objective is to provide technical assistance to the Latin American public sector for the effective implementation of public policies, regulatory frameworks or regulatory systems that favour the promotion of sustainable value chains in agriculture, livestock and forestry.

The main objective of component 3 is to promote the use of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) as a crucial driver of competitiveness and innovation to protect value generation by SMEs.
