Legal Meat Programme: development of a unified management system and strengthening of procedures 

Action in partnership with the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office (MPF) of Brazil in the states of Acre, Amazonas, Mato Grosso, Pará, Rondônia and Tocantins. Its objective is to support the development of the unified management system of the Legal Meat Programme and to strengthen the monitoring, reporting and verification procedures in the aforementioned states.

SeloVerde: implementation of traceability platform

In partnership with the Territorial Intelligence Centre of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (CIT/UFMG), support is provided for the development and implementation of the SeloVerde platform in several states.

MATO GROSSO DO SUL

Together with the Government of the State of Acre, through the Secretariat of Environment (SEMA-AC), and the Territorial Intelligence Centre of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (CIT/UFMG), the implementation of the Selo Verde platform is supported as a public traceability system for soy, beef and forestry products.

In partnership with the Secretariat of State for Agriculture, Supply, Aquaculture and Fisheries (SEAG) of the Government of Espírito Santo, the Espírito Santo Foundation for Research and Innovation Support (FAPES), CIT/UFMG, the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES) and the Capixaba Institute for Research, Technical Assistance and Rural Extension (Incaper), the mapping of coffee, cocoa and forests and the implementation of the SeloVerde platform are being carried out.

The Institute for the Environment of Mato Grosso do Sul (IMASUL), which is part of the State Secretariat for the Environment and Development of Mato Grosso do Sul, is a partner of the
Economic, Production and Family Agriculture (SEAGRO), for the adaptation and development of SeloVerde in the planted forest, cattle and soy sectors.

In collaboration with the State Forestry Institute of Minas Gerais (Brazil), support has been provided for the development and implementation of the SeloVerde MG platform in this state to promote socio-environmental sustainability in the coffee, livestock and soy value chains. In a second phase, we are working with the State Secretariat of Environment and Sustainable Development (SEMAD) and the Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (SEAPA) to expand the functionalities of the platform.
