The AL-INVEST Verde programme, as a part of the 23 May an online seminar is being held jointly organised by AL-INVEST Green DPI and the Uruguayan Agency for International Cooperation (AUCI).
Intellectual property is a critical issue in projects funded under the Horizon Europe programme, with important implications for project management, commercialisation, exploitation of results and collaboration between participants.
The objectives of the webinar are:
- To achieve a better understanding by participants of the different types of intellectual property, such as patents, trademarks and copyrights, and to provide practical knowledge on how to address intellectual property issues in research and innovation projects.
- Convey the legal and ethical aspects of intellectual property and how to ensure compliance with EU regulations, especially in Horizon Europe partnerships.
It is aimed at public officials, decision-makers, representatives of government STI authorities in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), university managers, representatives of university associations, research centres, project coordinators, and LAC National Contact Points (NCPs) for the Horizon Europe programme.
