Description:
The project PLANTAS: Palanca para la Transición Agrosostenible, is led by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Tourism of Ica and is part of the AL-INVEST Verde, a programme of the European Union (EU). We seek to generate value in the agricultural sector through the green and resilient transition in Peru and Bolivia, adopting products, processes and services that are friendly to the planet and more efficient in the use of resources, as well as promoting more sustainable consumption patterns.
We support micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, cooperatives, agricultural associations and organisations, small and medium-sized producers in the agricultural sector by promoting agro-sustainable practices, traceability and sustainability systems, certifications, resource efficiency and cost reduction, increased crop quality and productivity, business opportunities, green finance, farm-to-table strategy, green jobs, among others, through workshops, training, conferences, skills development, missions, field schools, innovative models, multi-sectoral events and other activities to support the agricultural sector.
