The AL-INVEST Verde programme, through Component 3 for intellectual property rights, organised the first edition of the Ingenias LATAM 2025 Award for women inventors in Santiago de Chile on 4 September 2025. Meet Dr Gladys Antonieta Rojas de Arias, biologist and inventor of compounds (synthetic molecules) derived from 2,5-dihydroxybenzyl, Paraguayan winner for her invention for the treatment of Chagas disease and leishmaniasis.
