Regulation (EU) 2023/1115 of the European Parliament and of the Council (EUDR)

On 6 December 2023, the Council and the European Parliament reached an agreement on the Deforestation and forest degradation free supply chains regulation. This regulation establishes mandatory due diligence standards for all operators marketing or exporting from the European Union (EU) the following raw materials: palm oil, beef, timber, coffee, cocoa, rubber and soybeans.
The regulation entered into force in June 2023 and it is foreseen that the list of channels will be periodically extended in order to ensure that, throughout the production chain, they have not contributed to deforestation or forest degradation.
