Sustainable Timber Dialogues
On the occasion of the Italian-Latin American SME Forum, AL-INVEST Verde organised a workshop on the sustainability of the timber chain in Latin America in 2023 and 2024. In the first case, the workshop focused on the sector's opportunities and challenges in the framework of European export regulations. The second workshop focused on public-private partnerships. In addition, a comprehensive report on "The forestry-wood sector in Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay" analyses strategies, challenges and opportunities in the context of the European Union's EU Deforestation Free Regulation (EUDR).

Dialogue on the forestry chain at the VII Italian-Latin American SME Forum
09 October 2023. On 3 October, the dialogue "The sustainability of the timber chain in Latin America: opportunities of a growing sector and challenges of the European export regulations" took place, organised in the framework of the VII Italy-Latin America SME Forum. The event was held from 2 to 4 October in Bergamo (Italy).
