The AL-INVmentor initiative offers tailor-made training and capacity building workshops for specific groups of producers in their regions of origin. These workshops are designed to equip them with the necessary skills to effectively use their intellectual property rights (IPR), with a particular focus on geographical indications (GIs) and other IPR. In addition, the initiative helps these groups to comply with European Union (EU) regulations, in particular the EU's "Green Pact", to facilitate their access to European markets. The training covers various topics, such as marketing, governance, strategy, sustainability, control strategies and technical support to develop applications for GI protection and recognition under national legislation.
