Environmental traceability of beef and leather
AL-INVEST Verde promotes transparency and sustainability of the meat and leather value chains in MERCOSUR through THREE ACTIONS:
- In December 2021, it launched in Brazil the "Dialogues on sustainability and traceability in meat and leather value chains“.
- In Santa Fe (Argentina) it has supported the strengthening the meat value chain.
- In collaboration with the Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries and the Secretariat of Bi-economy, belonging to the Ministry of Economy of Argentina, it promotes the implementation and consolidation of deforestation-free soybean and beef systemVISEC, also in Argentina.
