Support to the Promotion and Strengthening of the Geographical Indications of the Amazon Region in the event 'Origens Brasileiras 2024'.
Component 3 of the AL-INVEST Verde programme for intellectual property rights, implemented by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), will participate in the "Origens Brasileiras 2024" event organised by the Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service (SEBRAE).
The event aims to highlight the importance of Geographical Indications (GIs) in the economy and biodiversity. Component 3's participation will focus on promoting GIs as a tool for rural development, showcasing EU best practices and providing knowledge on GI development, as well as presenting the progress of its mentoring programme to support local producers, ALINVmentor.
