Technical training course "Solutions for exercising due diligence as set out in the EUDR".

The Spanish Business and Biodiversity Initiative (IEEB), together with the Subdirectorate-General for Forestry Policy and Combating Desertification of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge and the support from AL-INVEST Verde, is organising a training cycle of three technical webinars to guide the regulated sectors in the Regulation (EU) 2023/1115 on the marketing and export of raw materials and products associated with deforestation (EUDR). The cycle will also feature the cooperation from European Forest Institute (EFI)The EUDR is recognised for its expertise in supporting adaptation to the EUDR in producer countries.

The webinars will take place on 17, 18 and 19 June, with the following themes.

  • 17 JUNE (15:00-17:00 h). "EUDR Regulation, key issues for regulated companies". REGISTRY
  • 18 JUNE (15:00-17:00 h). "Resources for due diligence: geolocation and traceability".REGISTRY
  • 19 JUNE (15:00-17:00 h). "Resources for due diligence: no deforestation and legality". REGISTRY

During the webinars, AL-INVEST Verde will present some of the solutions it supports in Latin America to facilitate compliance with the EUDR Regulation.
