Strategies and instruments to promote sustainable livestock farming in the EU and LAC II

Component 2 of AL-INVEST Verde, in collaboration with the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), is organising the II EU-LAC Agri-Food Dialogue, under the title "Strategies and instruments to promote the sustainable transformation of livestock production in the EU and LAC"..

This event will take place in a hybrid format, face-to-face in Costa Rica and online, from 16:30 to 00:30 (CET time). Its purpose is to facilitate a strategic reflection between public, private, academic and civil society actors, with the aim of capitalising on experiences, identifying synergies and generating common guidelines to strengthen bi-regional cooperation. It will also allow progress to be made in the formulation of technical and political instruments that respond to the sector's current challenges and enhance shared opportunities for a livestock transformation with a positive impact on its economic, social and environmental axes.
