IPO Expert Meetings Session IV: Knowledge Sharing on Guidelines for the Examination of Trademarks in MERCOSUR Countries and Chile
The event is organised by Component 3 for Intellectual Property Rights, implemented by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), in close collaboration with the national IP offices (IPOs) of the MERCOSUR countries and Chile.
The main topic of this session is the development, implementation, maintenance and governance of the Guidelines for the examination of trademarks. The objectives include improving intellectual property management in Latin America and contributing to the improvement of operational excellence in the core processes of IPOs.
This webinar is part of a series of IPO expert meetings and knowledge exchanges on innovative and customer-oriented business processes and solutions on various IPR management topics for IP and/or IT experts from Latin American IPOs.
The activity contributes to Expected Result (ER) 1 of Component 3 of the AL-INVEST Verde programme: Strengthened capacity of national and regional IP institutions, in particular MERCOSUR countries, for more efficient and user-friendly IPR protection and enforcement systems.
