The main objective of the project is to improve the environmental, economic and social management of the beneficiary companies through the development of a voluntary code of sustainable practices that supports companies in controlling environmental mitigations.
The specific objectives of the project are as follows:
- To certify 125 companies under different categories through the programme of voluntary codes of sustainable practices (CVPS) developed by the CSCP.
- Establish short- and medium-term business linkages to marketing channels and new markets for participating companies.
- Generate a new service by the Costa Rican Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with CSCP for the granting of voluntary codes of sustainable practices.
- Generate public-private partnership for public sector support in the development of voluntary codes of sustainable practices.

- Companies in the agro-industrial sector
- Companies in the services sector
- Companies in the technology sector
The project will not only provide an x-ray of the situation of the companies, but will also help with plans and activities for the implementation of actions for the development of sustainable models for their development models.
