The main objective of the project is to foster sustainable economic production actions and maintain/create decent jobs through the provision of business development services with a focus on innovation, sustainability and business acceleration, contributing to a low-carbon and deforestation-free economy.
The specific objectives of the project are as follows:
- El Salvador's MSMEs in agri-food and tourism value chains adapt their business models according to market demands, improving their competitiveness to increase their sales and create decent jobs by applying sustainable practices, with special attention to women and young entrepreneurs.

Beneficiaries:
It is defined as final beneficiariesEntrepreneurs of MSMEs, formal or informal, from the age of 20, with varying levels of schooling, from basic and secondary education, to entrepreneurs with university studies, 60% women, 10% young people and 15% from rural areas, enhancing growth opportunities for Salvadoran women entrepreneurs. Some have launched their ideas and achieve subsistence levels, without the possibility of growth, and others are in a clear phase of progression that allows them to generate investment to take their business to another level.
Indirect beneficiaries are calculated as follows: 4 persons (elderly, children, spouse) living in the family unit of each beneficiary, whose income comes from the economic activity exercised by him/her. If 450 persons (60% women) will be served in the programmes, the indirect beneficiaries will be 1,800 persons.
