Creation of a circularity and industrial symbiosis hub for the incorporation of sustainable, innovative and associative practices in industrial companies in Uruguay.

Description:

Impulsa Verde is a project implemented by the Chamber of Industries of Uruguay, co-executed by the Uruguayan-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry and co-financed by the AL-INVEST Verde Programme of the European Union. Its objective is to support industrial MSMEs in the elaboration and implementation of a green growth plan, seeking to improve their competitiveness in an environmentally friendly way.

To this end, we provide innovative services, divided into three blocks, complementary to each other, which promote training, identification and implementation of circular practices tailored to Uruguayan micro, small and medium enterprises: Despegar Circular, Circular Transformation and Sustainable Coaching. Despegar Circular's services offer companies the possibility of identifying circularity opportunities, through the development of diagnoses and action plans in four services: Green Acceleration Plan, Sustainable Digitalisation, Connect Industries and Water Footprint Measurement. 

For its part, Transformación Circular works on the implementation of circular practices, through technical assistance, certifications and links with the academic sector. In addition, companies have access to a virtual marketplace called Plataforma Industrial, for the publication of offers and demands for waste, by-products, infrastructure, technological solutions and services; and for the conclusion of transactions between companies.

Meanwhile, the Sustainable Coaching block is responsible for generating meeting spaces for companies through training and mentoring that promote the incorporation of knowledge and the exchange of good business practices in eco-innovation.
