Description:
Strengthen and improve the linkage of MSMEs and their Business Organisations (BU) related to the construction sector that have or seek to have an offer of sustainable products, promoting, training and implementing sustainable and circular economy (CE) practices inspired by successful European experiences.
The project is executed in Chile by Fundació Eurecat of Catalonia, Spain, in co-execution with Fundación Empresarial Eurochile, Chile; it has a duration of 30 months and its focus will be on the Metropolitan and Los Lagos regions.
The target group to work with will be: MSMEs supplying products or services (raw materials for the Construction Sector) and MSMEs in architecture, design and engineering in Construction and their respective Business Organisations (BOS).
Among the main activities that will be developed throughout the project, the following stand out: dissemination and promotion of Circular Economy contents to MSMEs and their EOs supported by the network of trade associations and other associations present in the sector; the implementation of face-to-face and virtual workshops to train on Circular Economy concepts and provide tools for the identification of circular opportunities in MSMEs and EOs; and the generation of networks and collaborative alliances between Chilean and European companies in the construction sector and their EOs through the implementation of networking and collaborative alliances between Chilean and European companies in the construction sector and their EOs; and the generation of networks and collaborative alliances between companies in the construction sector and their Chilean and European EOs through business rounds, matchmaking and mentoring with a focus on CE and the visibility of sustainable products to foster the development of innovative and collaborative joint circular solutions.
