Sociologist from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Master in Political Science from the Universidad de los Andes, Specialist in Senior State Management from the Escuela Superior de Administración Pública.
She has been working in the United Nations System in Colombia for more than a decade. Currently, as National Programme Officer of UN Women in Colombia, with special experience in international cooperation on issues of democracy, public management and the role of the private sector for sustainable development.
Carolina Gonzales Mueller
Representative, UNIDO

Carolina González Müller is the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) Representative for Colombia and the Andean Region. With more than a decade of experience at UNIDO, she has worked on the design, implementation and monitoring of projects related to circular economy, resource efficiency and cleaner production in the industrial sector. Prior to assuming her current position, she served as Industrial Development Officer in the Environment Department of the organization.
