AL-INVEST Verde drives the transition to the circular economy in Latin America at the World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF 2025)

The AL-INVEST Verde programme reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable development in Latin America during its participation at the World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF 2025)The event brings together international leaders, companies, entrepreneurs and institutions committed to building a more sustainable and regenerative future.

As part of its intervention at the forum, AL-INVEST Verde led an outstanding Accelerator Session titled: "Opportunities and challenges for Latin American SMEs in the circular transition".which took place on 15 May at 15:30 at the Hotel Tivoli, in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The session addressed the main challenges and opportunities faced by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the region as they move towards more circular business models. Through real success stories and practical solutions, the positive impact of the circular economy in strengthening the sustainability and competitiveness of Latin American SMEs was demonstrated.

The Accelerator Sessions The WCEF's partners are recognised for their ability to generate spaces for high-impact dialogue, aimed at driving key solutions for the promotion of the circular economy at a global level. On this occasion, AL-INVEST Verde showed its leadership in the region, highlighting replicable, scalable and sustainable initiatives, aligned with the objectives of Component 1 of the programme, focused on strengthening the private sector.

Participation in WCEF 2025 represents a significant step for AL-INVEST Verde in its mission to promote a competitive, inclusive and sustainable economic model in Latin America. The commitment to circular transition, led by the programme, reinforces the role of SMEs as key agents of change in building a more sustainable future.
