Description 

The project seeks to disseminate, promote, advise and implement good practices, techniques and sustainable and circular agricultural technologies in processes and products in MSMEs and business organisations (EOs).

The main focus of the project is for fruit MSMEs and business organisations to move towards more sustainable and circular agri-food systems, achieving resource efficiency.

The project is implemented in Chile by Fundación Empresarial Eurochile in co-execution with 2 European partners: PROMOS Milan (Italy) and Agropolis International (France); it has a duration of 24 months and focuses on 4 regions of the country: O'Higgins, Maule, Biobío and Los Lagos. 

A number of activities will be carried out throughout the course of the project, including: a training plan will be carried out for MSMEs and their EOs on circular economy, sustainable agriculture, life cycle analysis, sustainable and circular techniques and technologies and current and future sustainability regulations and requirements from markets and consumers; workshops and direct consultancies will be carried out to identify, analyse and map the value chain of each group of MSMEs, using the (LCA) methodology; implementation plans for improvements and solutions previously identified with the LCA will be designed and executed together with the MSME groups, including guidelines, roadmap, digital and technological tools, and techniques that are easy to put into practice; mentoring will be carried out between Chilean and European EOs on the implementation of sustainable and circular improvements and solutions; and technical material on the project topics will be developed and disseminated.
