Component 3 boosts Digital Modernisation in the IP Office Paraguay (DINAPI)

Paraguay, 23 June 2023.- AL-INVEST Verde DPI, in collaboration with the Paraguayan Intellectual Property Office (DINAPI), has launched a comprehensive study entitled "Digital Modernisation: Diagnosis and Action Plan of DINAPI". The main objective of this project is to identifying DINAPI's digital transformation priorities and develop a strategic action plan for improving the quality of information technology services and the internal processes.

In order to achieve the objectives set by AL-INVEST Verde DPI, the study will focus on the following actions:

  • Definition of a comprehensive technology reference modelA model will be established that considers the key services and processes of an IP office, as well as the state-of-the-art technologies available.
  • Analysis of DINAPI's needs and prioritiesBased on the technological reference model, an exhaustive analysis will be carried out to identify the areas in which DINAPI requires support in terms of process improvement and user satisfaction.
  • Identifying priority areas for digital transformationThe key areas where DINAPI needs to focus its digital transformation efforts to achieve effective modernisation will be identified.
  • Drawing up an action planA strategic action plan will be developed that will focus on the actions needed to address the technology priorities identified in DINAPI.

This study represents an important milestone in the search for excellence in the services provided by the IP Paraguay Office (DINAPI), and could lay the groundwork for future studies in other intellectual property offices. on the basis of the defined technology reference model.
