In the framework of the Encuentro por México, AL-INVEST Verde presents the Panel: The Circular Economy

Guadalajara, 25 October 2022. In order to put on the agenda the importance of the transition towards more sustainable economic models in Latin America, the AL-INVEST Verde programme has been organising the panel: The Circular Economy in the framework of the Meeting for MexicoThe event will take place in the city of Guadalajara.

The Panel, co-organised in partnership with COPARMEX Jalisco will provide a unique space to address the challenges of the path towards a circular economy that proposes a resilient, diverse and inclusive model and creates opportunities for sustainable growth, fostering long-term productivity and green jobs, while addressing the challenges posed by climate change, pollution and biodiversity loss. 

This initiative will feature a high-level panel of speakers, including Javier Arribas, Advisor for Environment and Climate Change of the Delegation of the European Union in Mexico; Giselle de la Mesa, founder of 3 Vectores, Uruguay's first B-company - which has made a commitment to continuous improvement and has put its socio-environmental business purpose at the core of its business; and Carlos Villaseñor, President of COPARMEX Jalisco. The panel will also be moderated by Irene Haddad, Team Leader of AL-INVEST Verde.

This activity will take place on Thursday 10 November at 09.00 a.m. (CDMX time) and will be part of the series of conferences of the Encuentro por México, COPARMEX's most important event dedicated to all citizens, professionals and entrepreneurs who want to create new connections and add to decision-making, considering the challenging economic, social and environmental context we are facing.
