To ensure economic growth and employment generation that preserves nature and reduces the effects of climate change in the Oxapampa - Asháninka - Yánesha Biosphere Reserve (BIOAY).

The main objective of the project is to promote and encourage innovative initiatives and clean technologies that, through joint and concerted efforts, facilitate the process towards a green and circular economy model and achieve the integral and sustainable development of coffee-producing families and communities in the Oxapampa - Asháninka - Yánesha Biosphere Reserve (BIOAY).

The specific objectives of the project are as follows:

  • Coffee MSMEs apply better production management through sustainable and digitised economic practices, achieving greater productivity, profitability and sustainability and a strengthened capacity for resilience and mitigation of the effects of climate change.

The proposed action will directly benefit the Coffee MSMEs located in the districts of Oxapampa, Chontabamba and Villa Rica, specifically targeting 300 coffee MSMEs (1,200 people); independent and organised (Santa Felisa cooperative, Cooperativa agroindustrial ecológico y turismo Villa Rica, CEMCAVIR, Cooperativa Tsachopen, Cooperativa San José and Cooperativa Machicura and an undetermined number of independent producers).
