Paraguay, 05 May 2023. The National Directorate of Intellectual Property of the Republic of Paraguay (DINAPI) shall use and accept the terms of the Nice alphabetical list in English at TMclassa system that allows for the classification of products and services necessary for the application for protection of a trade mark. This integration of DINAPI into TMclass is supported by Component 3 of AL-INVEST Verde, funded by the European Union and implemented by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EIPO).EUIPO).

The new addition of DINAPI to TMclass brings to 95 the total number of national and regional intellectual property (IP) offices participants, including the African Regional Intellectual Property Organisation (ARIPO), the African Intellectual Property Organisation (OAPI), the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) and the EUIPO.

TMclass offers users the possibility to search for and translate products and services from and to any of the 44 languages availableand to verify the correct classification of terms according to the Nice classification, an international system used to classify goods and services for the purposes of trade mark registration.
