Bogotá, 21 November 2023 - With the aim of continuing to contribute to companies in the areas of sustainability and circular economy, the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce (CCB) is implementing the project: "Strengthening the competitiveness of the Bogotá region through the promotion of the circular economy", within the framework of Component 1 of the AL-INVEST Verde programme.

The above, in order to strengthen the knowledge and competencies on circular economy in 300 MSMEs in Bogotá and the 59 municipalities of the CCB's jurisdiction, and to achieve the appropriation and implementation of initiatives on this same topic in up to 100 MSMEs.

In the framework of the project, last October, the event: Programme - Circular Economy Solutions for MSMEs, was held under the leadership of the Vice-Presidency of Competitiveness of the CCB,

The event was attended by 45 companies that participated in the first seminar, entitled "Materials of the future, an innovative and sustainable strategy for MSMEs", organised by the University School of Business Administration (EAN). Two in-depth workshops were also held: "Materials of the future" and "Sustainable supply chain with the participating companies".
