Component 3 of the AL-INVEST Verde programme related to intellectual property rights, implemented by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), welcomes the publication of the new Trademark Guidelines developed by the National Directorate of Industrial Property (DNPI) of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining of Uruguay.
The EUIPO has worked closely with the IPDN in the development of the guides which provide updated criteria to guide decisions related to different aspects of the trademark field. This joint work reflects the strong strategic partnership between the two institutions and their commitment to technical strengthening and cooperation on intellectual property for the benefit of users.
