Coffee with purpose, the flavour of our SMEs

To welcome our participants, we have prepared a very special gift: a unique coffee for this event, produced by the SMEs that are part of our beneficiaries.

Each cup of this coffee represents the effort and passion of these SMEs, which are dedicated to growing high quality beans in different regions of Latin America.

More than a detail, it is a reflection of a sustainable production model that drives local development, promotes good practices and generates opportunities for communities. By sharing it, we want to make its unique aroma and flavour known, while joining the story of those who produce it with so much commitment.

All of these coffee producers have benefited from the project ".Business School"implemented as part of Component 1 of the AL-INVEST Verde programme.

Café Altísimo

Ten years ago, Julián Enrique Gómez Quintero, an electronics engineer from Medellín, decided to swap the city for the countryside in the municipality of Guarne. A territory without a strong coffee-growing tradition, but at the same time a 2,130 metres above sea level, he discovered that the altitude offered a unique advantage: coffees of extraordinary quality. This is how Café Altísimo was born, a project that unites technical knowledge and respect for the environment.
