The Bogota Chamber of Commerce (CCB) with the aim of continuing to contribute to companies on these issues and its circular economy programme, in alliance with Finnova as a European organisation, given its specialisation in sustainable development, circular economy, water and waste management, employment and youth, ICT and tourism and hand in hand with the CAEM due to its expertise in sustainability issues and as a subsidiary of our organisation, is implementing the project: "Strengthening the competitiveness of Bogotá region through the promotion of circular economy", with resources from the European Union, in the framework of the AL-INVEST Verde programme, in order to strengthen the knowledge and competences on circular economy in 300 MSMEs in Bogotá and the 59 municipalities of the jurisdiction of the CCB and achieve the appropriation and implementation of initiatives in circular economy in up to 100 MSMEs.
The project seeks to strengthen the knowledge and competencies on circular economy in 300 MSMEs in Bogotá and the 59 municipalities of the CCB's jurisdiction and to achieve the appropriation and implementation of circular economy initiatives in up to 100 MSMEs.
This project focuses on three outcomes:
- Outcome No. 1: Increased business sector awareness of the benefits of the circular economy in at least 300 MSMEs in Bogotá and the 59 municipalities in the CCB's jurisdiction.
- Outcome No. 2: Generated competencies, knowledge and technical skills in companies to develop waste prevention, minimisation, reduction and management actions in at least 70 MSMEs in Bogota and 59 municipalities in the CCB's jurisdiction.
- Outcome No. 3: Accompanied at least 40 MSMEs in Bogotá and the 59 municipalities of the CCB's jurisdiction, in the incorporation of innovation processes around eco-design, eco-innovation, eco-labelling and other sustainable practices.
